Local Firm Relocates into Downtown State College

Affinity Connection’s New Location Helps Fulfill its Mission for Customers

February 6, 2020 - After 20 years in Ferguson Township, Affinity Connection moved its office to S. Burrowes Street in downtown State College. The move gives the company direct access to top talent among Penn State students and graduates. It also accommodates increasing staff numbers and adds drop-in workspace for strategic partners, including contracted and freelance workers.

“A big motivation for our move was to create a more fluid and energetic space,” said CEO Greg Woodman. “Our core business is storytelling, which doesn’t necessarily flourish in a typical office setting like our previous location. Having more comfortable, flexible space and giving staff, freelancers and interns easier access to our office has helped create the buzzing, story-telling, website-building hub we envisioned.”

Affinity Connection creates and distributes strategic, data-driven communications that grow donors for nonprofit and membership-based organizations, and generate inbound leads and new revenue for businesses. Integrated platforms for data management, direct marketing and financial transactions streamline the donor and customer experiences, making every interaction personal and meaningful.

“Affinity Connection is a guide that works behind-the-scenes to achieve a strong return investment for clients,” Woodman said. “Clients who work with us believe in investing, cultivating and stewarding their donors and customers, and establishing strategic partnerships with expert service providers in database management, content creation, and direct marketing.”

Affinity Connection partners with clients nationwide and serves many local organizations, including State College Food Bank, State College Area School District Education Foundation, Mount Nittany Conservancy, Meals on Wheels, KCF Technologies, Catholic Charities of Altoona-Johnstown, Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School, several volunteer fire companies, and many alumni-based groups.

“Telling compelling stories is our core mission, and we execute it in a process-oriented way,” said Woodman. “We follow a proven system, built on data and analytics that delivers these stories for maximum impact and results.”
